Isa Agape

Hi, my name is Isa and I like to make music, take photos, and travel the world.

I'm thrilled you stumbled upon my little corner of the internet.

On this site you can find out what I’ve been up to lately.

I’ve been doing music since very young.

I’ve taken a very different path to music because I didn’t go to school for it, although I tried, in College.

I failed miserably.

By then I didn’t have any of the foundational knowledge and I had to drop those classes and figure out a different Major to study.

I was bummed of course but it didn’t stop me from still teaching myself how to play, sing, write, and now produce and compose music for TV/Film/Games.

It all started back in 2004, where I dropped my first 3 song EP, and not long after, found myself belting out tunes from it in front of a crowd of 8,000.

Sold a sweet 1000 copies in a heartbeat.

Marking the start of my professional musical journey.

Fast forward less than a year, and "In the Waiting" LP hit the shelves.

Life had other plans which lead me to a 15 year whirlwind of business, marketing, and project management.

More Albums were born.

A few collaborations sparked.

And creativity still flowed.

I hit pause on everything I was doing with work. Music took a backseat as I traded beats for clicks – Sony Alpha camera clicks.

I jet-setted around the globe, weaving tales through photos.

Collaborating with artist friends, we orchestrated a project that became a beacon of hope, raising $95,000 for Nicaragua's extreme poor.

2020 came and it was sink or swim for me so I decided to learn how to score films.

In less than a year I was hired to write and produce a full album for JW Media out in London UK. All production music for film, commercials, and trailers.

End of 2021 I wrote a piece than later became the focal point of a Short Film called The Pinnacle. We won several awards in the Film Festival circuit.

Now?

I'm orchestrating new original music on a monthly newsletter called ‘TerraNova’ (its free to subscribe) but also scoring for a rad video game and an unfolding script.

Oh, and there's a podcast too – "Songsmiths & Storyboards," where music and film collide. Join the party on Spotify and/or Youtube, where actors, musicians, and fellow composers spill the beans.

That’s all for now! Thank you for stopping by.
